Hi.My name is Dima.I want to tell you about people around the world. There are many countries and nationalities, for example:Poland-polish, Russia-Russian, Mexico-Mexican.

Many people are fond of sports for example:Marco from Spain plays basketball, Olga and Irina from Russia play tennis.Olga and Irina like tennis players,Venus and Serena Williams.

Then I tell you about flag of the United Kingdom.The Union Flag is the symbol of the United Kingdom.The colours of the UK flag are red, white and blue.It has got three crosses that are from each nation of the United Kingdom except for Wales.

In Africa live many tribes.The Maasai are tribe in Africa.They've got long legs and short black curly hair. The Karen,or Longnecks,are tribes in Burma and Thailand. The women are famous for the rings they have around their necks. Pygmies are very short people in Africa. They are under1.5 m tall. The Dayak women of Borneo have got very long ears. This is to make them beautiful.

In the world there are many athlets, for example: Lionel Messi is from Argentina. His birthday is on 24t June. He is one of the best footballers in the world. Lionel Messi is 1.69 m tall. He is short. Yelena Issinbayeva is a Russian pole vaulter. Her birthday is on 3rd June and she is 1.74 m tall. Yelena has got  Olympic gold medals.

The  Olympic Games are the biggest and most famous sports event in the world. There are three kinds of Olympic-the Summer Olympics,the Paralympics and the Winter Olimpics.

Gorodki is an ancient Russian folk sport that is still known in Russia today. The equipment for the game is very simple. The players have a bat and groups of wooden pins, skittles. Gorodki is a great game and lots of fun.
